MCP on All Plans, New Press Coverage + App Refinements

We've been improving how you connect to artist.tools, follow press coverage, and research visibility on Google. Here's what's changed recently.

MCP Is Now Available on All Plans

You no longer need Developer Access to use artist.tools through an MCP-compatible AI client.

MCP is now available on every plan, with access to tools and data based on your subscription. Your AI client can work with the information your plan includes, while features that require a higher plan keep the same access requirements.

If you've been waiting to connect artist.tools to your AI workflow, you can now get started with your current plan. Visit Settings > Integrations to manage your connections, or follow the setup docs.

New: Press Coverage Across Your Folders

Industry Access users now have a dedicated Press Coverage page.

Review press mentions and Google rankings across your saved artists, tracks, playlists, and curators in one place. Switch between entity types and select folders to focus on the projects you're working on, without opening every entity individually.

Redesigned Press Mentions on Entity Pages

We've overhauled the Press Mentions experience for Industry Access users, making coverage easier to scan and explore.

  • Coverage at a glance. See mention totals, referring sites, editorial coverage, and links to Spotify, with changes over time.

  • Editorial highlights. Browse articles and blog coverage in a more visual layout.

  • More useful filtering. Search, filter, and sort the full mentions table to find the coverage that matters to you.

A Clearer View of Google Rankings

Google Rankings on entity pages has also been redesigned for Industry Access users.

See which searches your pages rank for, where they appear on Google's first page, and the estimated clicks those rankings may bring. Updated summaries, filters, and ranking details make it easier to review visibility across tracked countries and follow changes over time.

Faster Loading, Smoother Navigation

We've made smaller refinements throughout the app, alongside improvements behind the scenes:

  • Smoother navigation between entity tabs.

  • More consistent loading states for tables and charts.

  • Refined search, mobile navigation, and page layouts.

  • Performance improvements to help pages load faster and stay responsive as you explore.

We're excited to keep improving artist.tools, and we have plenty more in store. Thanks for using the site and sharing your feedback.
